Restaurant Giardino

Fine dining with sophisticated Mediterranean dishes with a touch of Asia is the culinary philosophy of the Giardino. Our Chef Udo Schwarzat and his crew harmoniously fuse various influences. Eating becomes an experience! The inviting and elegant ambience provides the right setting for a pleasant and enjoyable evening. The ideal occasion to taste the wines from our well-kept wine cellar from 1888.

Even if you have booked the half-board arrangement, you can dine in the Giardino during winter season. Please reserve your table at the reception desk and we will credit you with CHF 58.00. Your consumptions at the Giardino will be charged according to the a la carte prices.


GIARDINO During Summer & autumn

During the summer season (29th May to 12th December 2019) our restaurant Giardino will only be open if the restaurant Kuchikästli is fully booked. We are going to serve the dishes of the Kuchikästli Menu exclusivly. We are looking forward to start again with a separate Giardino Menu on 13th December 2019.

The way down into the old walls of the wine cellar built in 1888 is easy. Climbing back up becomes more difficult. This is because of the many wines down there, all of which you will simply want to try.
